Worship services are held in the Stockholm Swedenborg Library (Swedenborgsbiblioteket vid Skanstull) on Sundays at 2.30 pm; sermons are accompanied by song and music. Transcripts of sermons are available to anyone interested.
The Swedenborg Forum presents public lectures on a broad span of ideas, showing Swedenborg’s cultural influence and aspects of doctrine. Spiritual discussion groups, centered on understanding the Word, are also held in the Library.
The Library at Skanstull, Stockholm, has a collection of 3200 titles by and about Swedenborg and the New Church. They are written in Latin, Swedish, English, German, Dutch, French and other languages.
Editions of Swedenborg's works, including original prints of the Theological Writings from the eighteenth century onward, are accompanied by 4000 titles of "Swedenborgiana". They include books on Swedenborg in the form of biographies, novels, essays, dramas, dictionaries, genealogical material, New Church history, history of religion, history of science, and history of ideas.
Most of this material is in the Swedish language and chronicles the activity of the New Church in Sweden. Facsimiles of Swedenborg's manuscripts in his fascinating and precise hand are also available.
